Work At Grenfell
A selection of artwork and projects that have been completed during my Visual Arts degree at Grenfell Campus, as part of Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Fourth Year
2025 - 2026
The Year I Fell For Scenic Art
At this time, I finished my studio credits required, and started taking some extra electives to fill up my time and develop additional skills.
Taking scenic painting as a class was the best decision I could have made as an artist. It forced me to quicken my pace, be intentional with my mark making, and improved my technical skill immensely.

Third Year
2024 - 2025

75th Street
2024
Two Layer Anaglyph Lithograph on Rag Paper
8in by 10in
An exploration of my girlhood as a trans-masculine adult. Works with blue and red 3D glasses.
The Weight of Us
2025
Sculpture piece for an installation focused class.
Posts are 8 ft long, leaving the total height of the structure at approximately 6 ft. tall.
This piece is a reflection on the grief associated with being queer, and how queer people carry this through our daily lives. It is something heavy that we bring into our safe spaces, and is not often ignored.

Second Year
2023 - 2024

In Our Arms
2023
Acrylic on panel
3 ft wide by 4ft tall
A take on portraiture. The painting depicts myself, and my two partners, in an embrace between the three of us. It was completed over the course of about a month and a half, with constant adjustment and reflection during its creation. It's a dedication to queer love and community.
When I'm Gone
2024
Linocut on fabric
Print: 2ft by 4ft
Fabric: 8 ft by 6 ft
When I'm Gone was a meditative study done, focusing on my connection to my body as someone with chronic illnesses which affect one's life expectancy.
While struggling with dislocations and chronic pain, I hand carved images of things I would miss, or pieces of journal entries I had written over the years, as a self-memorial for when I would eventually die. The image is mostly blank, with texture from the hand printing process, where I used a spoon to press over every inch of the fabric against the carved linoleum surface. It was completed over the course of 4 months, and only 2 prints were pulled from it.
